Privacy Policy
The short version: we read public GitHub data to build your Atlas, keep only what the service and payments need, and delete it when you ask.
What we collect
- Public GitHub data (profile and public repositories) and the evaluations we build from it.
- If you sign in: your GitHub account details, credit balance and generated roadmaps and scenarios.
- If you pay: purchase records from Stripe. Card details stay with Stripe.
- A hashed IP address for rate limiting, deleted after 30 days, and one essential sign-in cookie. No ads or tracking.
- Your browser keeps a copy of your latest roadmaps and a few display preferences in local storage. They stay on your device.
How we use it
Pop Alexandru, based in Romania, runs AI-Atlas and is responsible for your data (the data controller). We use it to build and show Atlas profiles and leaderboards, run your account and paid features, process payments and prevent abuse. We rely on our legitimate interest, our contract with you and legal obligations. We never sell personal data.
Anyone can map a public GitHub account, based on our legitimate interest in describing public technical work. Until its owner claims it, such a profile is kept out of search engines and is not shown on leaderboards. The owner can remove it at any time: sign in with that GitHub account and choose “Remove my Atlas” on the profile, which can also stop anyone from mapping the account again.
Who processes it for us
- GitHub: the public data we read, and GitHub sign-in.
- Supabase: our database and sign-in accounts, hosted in London.
- Railway and Vercel: hosting for the API and the website.
- OpenRouter and the AI model provider it routes to: public repository content and our evaluation of it, for scoring, roadmaps and scenarios. Free model endpoints may keep what they receive or use it to improve their models, so we never send your account details or payment data.
- Stripe: payments, tax and refunds.
- Some of these providers are outside the EU; transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can remove your Atlas yourself from your profile page while signed in with GitHub. You can also ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by writing to alexandrupp55@gmail.com. We keep data until you ask us to delete it, except payment records the law requires us to keep. You can also complain to your data protection authority. AI-Atlas is not meant for children under 16.
